A fierce Kangana Ranaut, with a sword in her hand and a kid tied at the back will give a rush of patriotism and strength as you lay your eyes on the first poster of Manikarnika.
There wasn’t a day more fit than India’s 72nd Independence Day, for the makers to show the audience what the film has to offer, all in a glimpse. Fitting the era that the story belongs, the poster is not a conventional photograph; but full blown painting.
Directed by Krish, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi stars Kangana Ranaut as Rani Laxmi Bai, television actress Ankita Lokhande as Jhalkaribai, Sonu Sood as Sadashiv, Jisshu as Gangadhar Rao, Atul Kulkarni as Tatya Top, Suresh Oberoi as Peshwa Bajirao II, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi as Puran Singh.
This film is slated to release on 25th January 2019 against Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30.
Just like Rani Laxmibai did, hope Kangana’s film fights fiercely against Super 30.
